The Rolex Datejust was first introduced in 1945 and has been one of the world's most iconic and quintessential models ever since. This particular reference, the 1603, was introduced by Rolex in 1959 and was produced up until the late 1970s. The 1603 reference denotes a stainless steel Datejust with a milled steel bezel, as opposed to its counterpart, the 1601, which featured a fluted gold bezel.

This sharp example dates to 1975, and features a very clean, original silver "Sigma" dial with attractive tritium luminous plots - sigma denoting the use of 18k gold for the markers and hands. The watch is in stainless steel with its milled steel bezel, and comes twinned on a vintage black leather strap.

This watch is a very clean, excellent example. The dial is in excellent condition, as is the crisp case and bezel. The strap is in good condition, and does not look to have been worn previous.
